ChatGPT, Claude, or Meta Muse?

Choose business AI by testing a real task, checking access to your systems, and defining how a person will review the result. A recognizable model name is a starting point for evaluation.

By Michael Berger

Start with the work.

Describe one input, one expected output, and the person who decides whether the result is useful. A prospect-research workflow has different needs from invoice extraction or a customer-support assistant.

Test a small set of representative examples, including incomplete information and exceptions. Compare accuracy, source traceability, latency, cost, and review effort before connecting the workflow to live records.

Three names. Different ways into the work.

ChatGPT / OpenAI

Evaluate whether your team needs an interactive assistant or an integration built through the OpenAI API. Check the tools, data controls, and account access available for the intended workflow.

Claude / Anthropic

Evaluate Claude against the same task examples and acceptance criteria. Separate everyday use of the assistant from the permissions and operational design of an API-based workflow.

Muse / Meta

Meta’s Muse ecosystem includes Muse Spark models and developer access through the Meta Model API. Check the current model documentation and access requirements before assuming a consumer experience can run a business integration.

When does a custom agent make sense?

A custom agent is useful when the task needs business-specific knowledge, connected tools, and a repeatable route from request to result. It can combine AI reasoning with deterministic automation.

Define which actions require approval, what happens when a source is missing, and who owns the workflow after launch. Start with an AI readiness assessment or explore custom AI agents.

Can these tools help customers find you?

Useful public pages make your business easier to understand in traditional search and AI-generated answers. Describe the service, explain its scope, answer buyer questions, and support claims with original evidence.
